St Edmunds Trust has provided £7,000 for My WiSH charity, which supports West Suffolk Hospital.
Sue Smith, fundraising manager for My WiSH, said: “We are overwhelmed with this very generous grant from St Edmunds Trust. This means we are over half-way to reaching our target of £25,000 to purchase a Sentimag machine so we can start enhancing the care to our breast cancer patients much sooner than we anticipated.”
Mary Pennock, chair of St Edmunds Trust says: “We are delighted to support fundraising for a Sentimag machine for the breast care department at West Suffolk Hospital. Hopefully this will reduce the incidence of lymphodema for breast cancer patients.”
